Reducing Expectations

Nikki

Why fight what's showing up.

You know when you have one of those day's.

You drag yourself out of bed then proceed to trip over a shoe the kids or dog's toy.

You then get in the shower and the water is cold, your lovely partner has used all the hot water again.

Frustrating

Go to make a coffee and the kids have used all the milk.

We then start to get stressed and caught up with all these negative thoughts and before we know it, we have created a story in our mind, that this is gonna bad day!

There is no Contentment, only Frustration.

No situation can cause you suffering, it's your response to it.

We can never control what is going to happen, so don't fight the process.

When we fight life, we add another layer of struggle.

Embrace what is, with less Judgement and more Acceptability.

If we can reduce our Expectations for Appreciation, the day will run a lot smoother.

Ok the water was cold, however, "I'm lucky to have clean running water".

There's no milk to make a coffee " I will choose another drink",

Appreciate that there is a choice of another drink.

It's raining outside, "dam i planned on walking to work, i will put on my rain jacket, there is no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothing"

Do you see where i'm going with this, there is always something to be grateful for!

When you feel like the day is not going quite how you planned, be more accepting and this will bring more contentment and acceptance.

There is always something to be grateful for.

Reduce Expectation for Appreciation.
